Since the Genie screwed this up, what, Netgear, can I do to make my Mac retain my background image settings again. The default background images are back on all 3 monitors. I can change to my choice of backgrounds images, close the dialogue and shut down the computer. A reboot did no restore my background images and UNINSTALLING THE Genie did not make the situation any better. Just as the installation completed all 3 of my monitors reverted to the 'default' Apple background. Yesterday I download the Netgear Genie app and installed it on my Mac Pro. I'm using the Netgear AC1750 for my home network and love it. With the new look-and-feel and ease-of-use of NETGEAR genie.
